Is MaeloWOW free?
Yes, completely. There is no shop, no VIP and nothing to buy. It is a non-commercial fan project.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The original 3.3.5a client runs in your browser. Click Play (PC) or Play Mobile (phone).
Which browsers work?
An up-to-date Chrome, Edge or Safari. On phones, open the site in Chrome or Safari, not inside an app (Instagram, TikTok…) browser.
Why is the first load slower?
The first time, your browser downloads the game data it needs (about 45 MB to reach the login). It keeps it, so next time you are in within seconds.
Is the game in English or Spanish?
Both. English by default; press Español on the login screen to switch.
Is there music and sound?
Yes, the original soundtrack and sound effects play in the browser.
What are the rates?
x5 experience, gold x1.5, reputation x2, honor x1.5, professions and weapon skills x2, item drops x1. See Rates & Features.
Can I play Alliance and Horde?
Yes, both factions on the same account.
Is the account the same for the forum?
Yes. Your game account logs you into the forum too.
I forgot my password.
Post in the forum (Bug Reports & Support) or ask a GM in game and we will help you. If you set an email, it helps us prove the account is yours.
My character is stuck.
Type .unstuck in game, or log in on the home page and use Unstuck Characters while you are offline.
How do I report a bug?
Log in on the home page > Support Tickets, or post in the forum. Screenshots help a lot.
